Chatting with Lou Hannan at BBC Radio Solent

I was delighted to chat with Lou Hannan at BBC Radio Solent recently in their New Shoots segment where they support local businesses. We talked all about my BIG move out of my home clinic and into my new skin clinic in Bizspace in Christchurch, Dorset. It was a huge decision to take the plunge and move into my new premises but I certainly haven’t looked back. It’s amazing. I love the atmosphere and the communal areas where I get to chat with other brilliant local businesses. Having the divide between work and home life is a major bonus too. And the Skin Specialist of the Year is …. Christchurch Derma Spa!

Yikes! Another award 🤩 I am absolutely thrilled that I won Skin Specialist of the Year in the British Hair & Beauty Awards 2021. Having won Aesthetic Salon of the Year in the 2020 awards and Beauty Salon of the Year in the 2019 awards, I didn’t think I could possibly make it a hat-trick and win three years running … right?! WRONG!! I couldn’t be more proud of having this lovely certificate on display in my new skin clinic in Christchurch, Dorset. For this year’s application, the judges looked at how I stayed in touch with clients during lockdown (everyone remembers all those Cuppa Clubs with the lovely Jenny Palmer Fitness we did to keep everyone’s spirits up?!) and how I have managed to reopen the business, despite COVID restrictions.
