I’m absolutely over the moon and so grateful to have won the Independent Business of the Year at the Christchurch Business Awards 2023 
After winning the Customer Service category last year, I wasn’t sure if I could make it two years on the trot. But I am so glad I took the risk and entered. The event was a wonderful celebration of local Christchurch businesses. I was so shocked when they announced that the winner of the Independent Business of the Year was Christchurch Derma Spa!
The judges said that the Independent Business category had many excellent nominations. They were impressed with my ongoing commitment to growing the business through the services and products offered (like my fab new ALumierMD skincare line) and some lovely comments from my wonderful clients, such as “I now have the best skin I have had in years and a renewed sense of confidence. I am truly amazed every time I look in the mirror!”
It sounds cheesy I know, but I love my job . I love boosting people’s confidence and making a difference. It’s so rewarding to see a client who could barely look in the mirror when they first came in complete a course of treatments and leave with their head held high and a smile on their face.
