Winter is a great time for cosying up indoors in front of the TV 📺. But did you know it’s also the perfect time to tackle your thread veins? It’s because of one big reason – the sun! ☀️
You can’t have laser treatment when the sun is out, so winter is the perfect time to get started
Facial thread veins or broken red veins are small, superficial red, purple or blue veins that appear around the nose and across the cheeks and chin. They may be hereditary or as a result of sun damage, wind and temperature exposure. Although facial veins/spider veins are quite common, they can cause some distress and make you feel self-conscious about your appearance.
Campbell de Morgan Spots tend to occur in people over the age of 40. These small, red or purple areas, also known as blood spots, can appear anywhere on the skin but are particularly common in the chest area.
IPL technology can target both these conditions and cause your red veins or spots to fade away

By starting your laser treatment in the winter, you’ll have plenty of time to complete your course when the weather is cooler. If you haven’t had laser treatment with me before, you’ll need to start with a skin consultation and patch test. Then, we’ll book you in for your course of treatments every 4-8 weeks. Most clients achieve brilliant results after 6 treatments. Occasionally, further treatment may be needed, depending on how your body responds to the treatment.
